The outer material is completely windproof and waterproof thanks to the highly effective Dermizax® NX membrane, without compromising breathability and freedom of movement. The High-Reach-Performance Fit of the Westalpen 3L Light mountaineering jacket ensures an ideal fit during any movement on ice, snow, or mixed terrain. Additional features such as the extra-large front pockets, the high-cut collar, and the helmet-compatible, two-way adjustable hood with horizontal and vertical adjustment options provide everything an alpinist needs in this lightweight 3L hardshell. The mesh lining in the front pockets allows for better air circulation. For a comfortable feel around the chin and neck, the jacket includes 120 Merino Tec inserts. 3L Shell Light: With the Dermizax® NX membrane from Toray, the 3-layer Shell Light material offers maximum wind and water protection and high breathability (min. 25,000 g/m²/24h) at a low weight (82 g/m²). No PTFE is used, and the poreless construction of the membrane increases water vapor permeability.
