With the Merino Naked Sheep line, Ortovox focuses on the essentials: low weight, optimal protection, and sufficient comfort. The hardshell jacket is lightweight and technically designed, yet robust and comfortable. The Dermizax® NX membrane from Toray provides wind and water resistance as well as breathability - the most powerful membrane used by Ortovox. For an optimal fit, even with a climbing harness, the hardshell jacket features a 2-way zipper. Underarm ventilation is provided by a 2-way zipper during strenuous ascents. Soft inserts made from a Merino material blend at the chin and the 2-way adjustable, helmet-compatible storm hood offer comfort and protection in rain, snow, or icy conditions.
