Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral part of Ortovox's mountain wear. The merino wool comes from selected farms that comply with Ortovox's own wool standard, the Ortovox Wool Promise. Ortovox sources its virgin wool from sheep raised in verified and animal-friendly conditions. As part of the OWP, the sheep farms are regularly audited.
