The Optimus Svea, a cult stove from the climbing scene, is a classic, lightweight gasoline stove made of solid brass. It has been available for a whole century and continues to set the standard for compact outdoor cooking equipment. No other outdoor stove has been tested in practical use as extensively worldwide as the Optimus Svea. Climbers especially appreciate it for its excellent cooking performance even at high altitudes. The Optimus Svea is ideal for solo and high mountain tours, as well as anywhere that pack volume and weight are critical.
