Okuma ls-6k

The Okuma LS-6K reel has been designed for carp fishing at long distances and features an easy-to-operate disengagement system, a slow oscillation system with a spool stroke of 30 mm, and a worm gear for smoother and gentler winding. It has an oversized front drag in a compact housing to provide anglers with a better fishing experience. This disengageable reel combines all the characteristics of a large reel in a more compact design. Its slow oscillation will wind the line perfectly and at close intervals, reducing friction during casting.

The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) has been engineered to create a "cyclonic" airflow that significantly increases the air around the rotor with each turn of the handle. This thoroughly tested design allows for a much longer drying time when the spool becomes wet, minimizes corrosion, and extends the lifespan of the spool. Okuma has redesigned the main drive gear: larger diameter (+15%) and deeper teeth (+15%) for maximum power recovery (+30%). This enables a high gear ratio for a greater line retrieval of 103 cm.

The ultimate stability of the gear ensures a perfect alignment of the main gear, a super-smooth gear feel, and high durability. Additional features include an "Auto Switch" disengagement system, a long 30 mm spool, a corrosion-resistant graphite body, 5 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing, an infinite anti-reverse Quick-Set, a delayed rotor pick-up, an aerodynamic CFR rotor, a machined aluminum spool, a round metal line clip, a metal design handle, a wooden handle knob, a gear supported by 2 bearings, a worm shaft system, a machined brass gear, a waterproof Hydro Block drag, a large cross-section pick-up, and RES II: computer-assisted balancing of the rotor as well as an anti-twist roller.
