Okuma presents the brand new concept for the long-distance casting reel 2018, the Surf 8K. This reel not only retains Okuma's proven designs, such as the braking system and the rotor with brush protection, but also offers numerous upgrades in all functions and components. The Surf 8K is equipped with a worm gear and an ultra-slow oscillation system that allow for straighter and tighter line winding, reducing friction during casting. The conical spool ensures longer casting distances and is ideal for use in open water.
