The clipless Vibram sole Fort Augustus has been designed to enhance traction and braking with unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The EVA midsole reduces weight and improves shock absorption. The thermally welded layered construction provides maximum protection while minimizing thickness and weight. The small TPU insert makes the shoes highly abrasion-resistant and protects against repeated impacts. The dual closure system features Velcro and our SLW3. This solution controls pressure over the instep to avoid unnecessary pressure points and overheating while riding. The combination works perfectly across the entire foot: the SLW3 dial tightens the shoes from the midfoot to the toes, while the Velcro strap secures the upper foot. The upper material and tongue are reinforced with ripstop to increase durability, allowing the shoes to be worn in all conditions. The tongue is padded with a thin layer for maximum comfort even on longer rides. The heel area is designed to conform to your heel, preventing slipping and ensuring a precise fit at all times.
