A very good power transfer is guaranteed thanks to the fiber-reinforced NRG Air Carbon sole with a stiffness index of 8.0. The upper shoe features an overlap construction that reduces wind resistance by evenly securing the foot without pressure points, helping to transfer every watt of power precisely. The reinforced and abrasion-resistant toe area, combined with the SLW2 rotary closure system, ensures millimeter-accurate adjustment and fitting of the shoe. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar in the entry area combines the extreme elasticity of the Gore-Tex Rattler membrane with the high thermal insulation of neoprene, thus enhancing mobility and protection. The ergonomic heel shape, with its anatomical fit thanks to state-of-the-art thermoforming technology, along with our Arctic 4Layer insole made of EVA and aluminum, as well as EVA and pile, ensures excellent thermal insulation. For added safety in poor visibility conditions, the shoe features 360° reflective inserts.
