X-Over – The Allround Weapon from North Sails

The X-Over sail range excels in all water and wind conditions. Sizes 3.7 to 5.8 are powerful wave sails with an extremely low swing weight – perfect for jumping and wave riding. They offer an impressive balance of lightness, stable power, and speed. Sizes 6.2 and 6.7 are designed as free-move sails, ideal for flat water freeride with high stability, top speed, a wide wind range, and excellent upwind performance.

Although the basic concept remains the same, Generation #2 is a completely new sail – featuring revised profiles, optimized twist characteristics, and new geometry. Additionally, reinforced fibers in critical areas provide even more stability, control in strong winds, and maximum performance.

On the water, the sail feels lighter in hand and delivers instantly accessible, controlled power. The large monofilm window ensures perfect visibility – both in the waves and when tacking.

Thanks to a wider optimal trim range for the luff and leech, finding the "Sweet Spot" setup is easier and more precise. The EZ Downhaul Wave system (up to 5.8) and the EZ Downhaul 2-in-1 system enhance usability.
