Lightweight, Multifunctional Tarp

The Voss Tech is a multifunctional tarp designed to meet a wide range of travel needs. Made from tear-resistant ripstop nylon, the tarp is very lightweight and durable. Thanks to its numerous web loops, it offers endless setup possibilities. Each of these loops accommodates the Nordisk "Helmet slides," making setup even easier. The tarp has many functions; it can be used as a mini tent or an emergency stretcher with six handles. When folded and hung between trees, the tarp transforms into a covered hammock. While lying on the lower layer, the upper layer provides protection from sun, wind, and rain. As a mini tent, the tarp can be set up quickly and even features a zippered entrance.

The Story Behind the Name

Voss is a municipality in the Hordaland province of Norway. Here, nature offers both high mountains and rich, fertile valleys with large coniferous forests and extensive wetlands, providing a home for over 155 bird species. In Norse, Voss means "wave" or "sea." Today, Voss is primarily known as a winter sports destination that has produced many famous world-class athletes in biathlon and alpine skiing.
