The lightweight, fast and stable super shoe. The 005 features new technologies that redefine what trail running supershoe performance should feel like. Rather than simply transferring technological conventions from road running to the trail, Norda has developed a responsive and stable shoe designed for the specific demands of race day performance on the trail.
Recommendation: choose 1/2 size (US) larger than normal size. The open-mesh upper made from organic Dyneema and recycled material is robust and light as a feather. The woven pattern ensures optimum breathability and fast water drainage. The laces are 4 mm thick instead of 5 mm to save weight. They are made of Dyneema, which offers higher abrasion resistance and more stretch and is 4x as strong as a standard lace. The 005 has a proprietary fit-lock system designed for race day. The heel collar features PODs to better lock the foot in place, increase comfort and reduce debris ingress. The tongue is made of smooth, perforated microsuede that moulds to the foot and allows heat to escape when running at high intensity. This fit-lock system is complemented by a new inner-foot binding technology that is activated via the laces and provides unshakeable stability.
