Newmen is particularly proud of this stem. After more than 15 years without any real innovation in stem design and manufacturing, Newmen has succeeded in setting a new benchmark for stems with its new design and innovative manufacturing technique. The Newmen Evolution SL 318.2 is the lightest 3D forged series oversized stem in the world.

The 3D stem forging began around 2001. Very quickly, the first super-light stems emerged, which set the benchmark for weight for many years. However, after the introduction of the 31.8 mm handlebar clamp size and the evolution of design in stems (a round stem tube no longer fits with current frame designs), the weight of these stems unfortunately increased.

With the Newmen Evolution SL 318.2, it has now been possible to create a stem with contemporary design and low weight. In addition to its lightweight and straightforward design, it also impresses with its stiffness, stability, and durability. Mounting the handlebar is incredibly easy thanks to a small included installation aid. Please note: Not all racing handlebars are compatible with the Newmen Evolution SL 318.2 stem.
