Product details
The Michelin Wild AM2 is designed for mixed to soft terrain with loose ground. Its more aggressive tread design is uncompromisingly focused on maximum grip. It is particularly suitable for tracks and challenging trails where rolling efficiency is not the priority. The tall center knobs are inspired by the Michelin DH34 tire and provide maximum ground penetration during braking for good stability and transfer of braking forces on soft ground. The shoulder knobs are inspired by the DH22 and have been modified to ensure more bite during braking and acceleration on soft surfaces. This results in noticeably more grip, high riding stability, and controlled handling even on demanding surfaces. All Michelin mountain bike tires with flexible bead cores, except for the Michelin Wild Run’R, can be set up tubeless, provided a tubeless UST or compatible tubeless-ready rim is used, the maximum pressure indicated on the tire sidewall is not exceeded, and sealant is added.
