The Miche Pistard WR wheelset is an affordable track bike wheelset featuring high-flange hubs and double threading. It can be used as Fixed/Fixed or Fixed/Free. However, the rims do not have brake tracks and are therefore not intended for use with rim brakes. Fixed gear equipment is designed and built to withstand the stresses of track cycling. Using it as a brake (skidding) in road traffic is prohibited. Any damage and consequential damage resulting from use in road traffic are the user's responsibility and are not covered by statutory warranty.
