The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS is a road helmet designed for performance and elite cyclists. Winner of the Tour de France and the monumental Liège-Bastogne-Liège, it aims to keep your head cool and save energy with every pedal stroke. The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS is the most advanced road helmet we have ever created.

No compromises are made on performance, and we have integrated the lightest and most advanced system to manage rotational forces: MIPS AIR®, embedded in the foam. MIPS AIR® has been specifically developed to be as lightweight as possible, reducing harmful rotational energy transferred to the head during specific angular impacts. MIPS AIR® is integrated into the foams of the Trenta 3K Carbon and allows for a relative movement of 10-15mm between the energy-absorbing layer and the foam.

The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS outperforms all other helmets on the market. Our R&D team has taken advantage of the elastic modules of carbon, which allows us to reduce the density of the EPS foam by 20% without affecting the helmet's ability to absorb energy. The result is a more efficient shell that sets a new standard in the design of ventilated helmets.

Initially developed by NACA, the precursor to NASA, the position of this ventilation on the top of the helmet allows for optimal airflow. Using the power of the Venturi effect, the wind pushes the warm air contained in the helmet out of the exhaust ports designed for this purpose. This guarantees a constant airflow within the helmet, without creating turbulence or drag.

The tail of the helmet also has aerodynamic properties. It works in synergy with the NACA ventilation and the rear deflectors to effectively guide the airflow. It features a lowered profile at the back, which was developed with specific testing in the NEWTON wind tunnel laboratory in Milan.
