Enhanced traction is achieved through the use of Vibram TC5+ rubber with a completely new design specifically developed for Merrell. Hikers know that comfort is paramount, and the new Moab Speed offers 30% more cushioning underfoot. Breathability has also been significantly improved. The GORE-TEX® waterproof membrane is exceptionally breathable and waterproof. The upper is made from nylon ripstop and TPU. The laces are made from 100% recycled material. The padded collar and protective, abrasion-resistant rubber heel and toe caps provide additional comfort. Dual heel and tongue loops allow for easy entry. The mesh lining is made from 100% recycled material, and the footbed cover is also made from 100% recycled mesh. Treated with Cleansport NXT! for natural odor control. The removable PU footbed contains 5% recycled material. The lightweight FlexPlate! technology offers torsional rigidity and stability in the forefoot area. The FloatPro! foam midsole provides lasting, lightweight comfort. The Vibram® TC5+ outsole technology gives you confidence with every step, from mountain trails to city streets.
