The Piz Boval GTX from Meindl's Alpin Series is a high-altitude shoe designed for alpine trekking on rock, walls, scree, and glaciers, offering exceptional stability. The forward-extended lacing allows for optimal adjustment to the foot. Thanks to GORE-TEX, the shoe is guaranteed to be waterproof and breathable. The high rubber rand, applied by hand, provides excellent protection for both the foot and the shoe in rocky terrain. The Alpin Rigid rubber profile sole from Vibram, featuring a PU wedge and integrated spoiler, allows for crampon attachment without heel overhang, enabling efficient walking.
