The free-running Speedwire of the variofix® system pulls evenly tight around the heel when lacing up. The grippy profile of the Meindl Multigrip® G4 sole with continuous EVA soft-tread wedge + TPU heel stabilizer gives secure grip and wonderful cushioning. The sole incorporates 22% recycled rubber, which is a by-product of the normal sole production process. The recycled rubber content was chosen so that the sole is still manufactured in the usual Meindl quality.
