Meindl doesn't promise too much: the Island MFS Active is exactly the right shoe for demanding trekking. It also works well for normal hikes. In technical terrain it is perhaps a little insensitive. Otherwise, it is outstanding in terms of comfort and quality. Therefore our trekking tip.
