Meindl Himalaya GTX® is the ideal mountain shoe for multi-day mountain tours, moderate alpine use, and via ferrata. The device in the heel area allows for the use of crampons with lever and front basket, enabling the crossing of snow and ice passes. The exceptionally high rubber stone guard protects against external abrasion. Optimal heel support is guaranteed by the Meindl MFS® - Memory-Foam-System, which improves the flex zone for pressure-free walking. The MFS foam in the shaft and the Soft-Print foam in the insole adapt to body temperature. Additionally, the Meindl DiGAfix® lacing technology provides a flexible, pressure-free diagonal fixation of the foot in the instep area. This ensures more pull on the heel and thus an improved heel fit. The Gore-Tex® climate lining offers breathability and waterproofing. The VIBRAM® Meindl Multigrip profile sole provides the necessary stability and grip in challenging terrain.
