The Appia is suitable both as an approach shoe and for hiking on well-maintained paths. The variofix® system ensures a perfect fit and heel fixation. The free-running "Speedwire" tightens evenly around the heel when laced in. The production over the special Comfort fit® last creates more volume, toe freedom and more ball width, thus achieving a straight position of the big toe. The genuine leather lining ensures a high level of comfort and a pleasant climate in the shoe. The Meindl Multigrip® 3 Alpin Light sole from Vibram® provides a secure grip.
