The Appia is suitable as both an approach shoe and for hikes on well-maintained trails. The variofix® system ensures a perfect fit and heel fixation. The freely running "Speedwire" tightens evenly around the heel when laced. The construction over the special Comfort fit® last provides more volume, toe freedom, and increased forefoot width, allowing for a straight alignment of the big toe. The genuine leather lining offers high wearing comfort and a pleasant climate inside the shoe. The Meindl Multigrip® 3 Alpin Light sole by Vibram® provides secure grip.
