The new Antero 3.5 GTX is perfectly suited as an entry-level model for hiking. The upper material, a combination of suede and mesh, is very soft and supple. Thanks to GORE-TEX, the shoes are guaranteed to be waterproof and breathable. The Meindl Omni Grip sole from Vibram impresses with its high grip due to the traction lugs. The continuous EVA soft wedge provides comfortable cushioning, and the internal pro/supination support aids the natural rolling motion of the foot.
