The Cockpit has an interface to connect to a smartphone and enable control via an APP (iC+ Training). Of course, the Cockpit can also be used like a normal treadmill without a smartphone/tablet PC and APP. The drive motor works powerfully and quietly. The motor adjusts in fractions of a second to ensure smooth running under load. A professional AC motor, as used in studio treadmills, is installed. This means a very high torque in all speed ranges. The incline of the running surface is controlled by a separate motor and can be adjusted under load. The incline is adjusted either at the touch of a button on the Cockpit or automatically in the training programmes. Both the incline and the speed can be set using quick selection buttons on the Cockpit. This saves having to constantly press the buttons. Thick, well-balanced drive rollers transfer the drive power optimally to the running belt. The perfect cushioning of the running surface, consisting of the Cushion-Flex cushioning system and SAS cushioning system, is very important for healthy running training. The impact shock is absorbed and transferred to the cushioning elements. This protects the joints and minimises noise during running training. As five to seven times the body weight is exerted on the joints during running training without an incline and up to three times the body weight during walking & running training, optimum cushioning is essential for training that is easy on the joints. The full-length handrail always offers optimum support during running training. Whether you are walking, strolling or putting in a quick sprint. You will always quickly find a secure grip on the handrail. Even if the incline goes upwards, the handrail moves with you in height. This means you can always reach it at the same height.
