Maxxis Rambler

Maxxis' first true gravel bike tire. The Rambler has the volume needed for good comfort and the tread pattern required for speed and control. The closely spaced center knobs are angled, allowing for excellent rolling on hard surfaces. Open side knobs provide predictable cornering behavior across various terrain conditions.

Dual compound: Two different rubber compounds are used to create a tread strip. We arrange the compounds based on the desired characteristics of the tires.

Silkshield: SilkShield offers Silkworm protection all around, from bead to bead, preventing cuts and other defects on the tire sidewalls and under the tread.

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure, resulting in better traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant than other tubeless ready tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire. This ensures that tubeless installation on all standard rims is successful on the first inflation with minimal liquid.
