With its completely new profile design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. Featuring side knobs from the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it offers extreme cornering stability. The center knobs have angled shapes for improved acceleration. Notches on the knobs enhance the transition when leaning into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, digging in during hard braking to help keep the bike under control.

Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wide rims, resulting in less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but perform excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm.

EXO+ Protection: Our new EXO+ construction combines two of its best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, while the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together, EXO+ offers the following benefits: 27% better puncture protection on the tread, 51% more stable sidewalls, and 8% more pinch flat protection.
