Product details

With its completely new profile design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. Featuring side knobs from the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it offers extreme cornering stability. The center knobs have angled shapes for improved acceleration. Notches on the knobs enhance the transition when leaning into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape that digs in during hard braking, helping to keep the bike under control.

The freeride variant of the 3C tires provides significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, while maintaining acceptable rolling resistance, allowing for good uphill performance before the thrilling descent. The long lifespan and extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protect the sidewalls of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible, ensuring that the tire performance remains consistently impressive.

Additionally, rings made of Kevlar or another aramid fiber keep the tires securely on the rim. Reduced weight and easier transport due to a compact size are further advantages.

Tubeless Ready (TR) tires have many benefits: you can ride with lower air pressure, resulting in better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with a tube, and where there is no tube, the risk of punctures decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tires, as the bead is completely covered with a rubber layer, similar to a true UST tubeless tire. This ensures that tubeless installation on all rims that meet standard dimensions is successful with the first inflation and minimal liquid.

Delivery includes: single tire. Dense carcass fabric: 60 TPI. Puncture protection. Tire size: 29 x 2.30 inches. E-bike compatibility: without manufacturer recommendation. Tire size ETRTO: 58-622 mm.
