Product details
With its completely new profile design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. Featuring side knobs from the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it offers extreme cornering stability. The center knobs have angled shapes for improved acceleration. Notches on the knobs enhance the transition when leaning into corners. Part of the center knobs has a paddle shape that digs in during hard braking, helping to keep the bike under control.
Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the profile layout and tire shape for modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wide rims, which negatively impacts performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but perform excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm.
EXO Protection: This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and flexible, ensuring that the tire's performance remains impressively unchanged.
DUAL Compound: Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired characteristics of the tires.
