Product details
The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as angled lugs for low rolling resistance and great smoothness with longitudinally carved lugs for more gripping edges. This results in excellent directional stability and precise cornering behavior. It is the benchmark for fast trails, from light freeride to hardcore downhill.
Technologies:
Folding Bead: Even rings made of Kevlar or another aramid fiber securely hold the bead on the rim. The advantages are reduced weight and easier transport due to a compact size.
3C MaxxTerra: The freeride variant of the 3C tires. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, while maintaining acceptable rolling resistance, allowing for good climbing before the thrilling descent, with a long lifespan.
EXO Protection: This extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the tire performance remains impressively good.
Tubeless Ready (TR): Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure, which provides better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with a tube, and where there is no tube, the risk of punctures decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires, as the bead is completely covered with a rubber layer, similar to a true UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless installation successful on all rims that meet standard dimensions with the first inflation and minimal liquid.
