Product details
The most widely used and successful downhill tire in the world in recent years. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as angled knobs for low rolling resistance and great ride comfort with longitudinally slotted knobs for more gripping edges. This results in excellent directional stability and precise cornering behavior. It is the benchmark for fast trails, from light freeride to tough downhill. The new EXO+ construction combines two effective puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, while the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Tires with EXO+ Protection are designed for aggressive trail riding and enduro racing, particularly suited for the higher torque and weight of e-MTBs. The freeride version of the 3C tires offers significantly more grip and traction through softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, allowing for good uphill performance before the thrilling descent, and long durability. Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure, which improves traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful on all standard-sized rims right from the first inflation and with minimal liquid.
