Maxxis Ardent Race folding tire 29x2.20" EXO TR DC

The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between a fast XC tire and a trail tire. Its profile is medium-high, with closely spaced center knobs that provide enough space for good self-cleaning and are angled for reduced rolling resistance. The side knobs are angled and staggered, gripping the ground in corners. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for versatile use and on trails.

Exo Protection: This extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains impressively good.

Dualcompound: Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the characteristics of the tires.

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with lower air pressure, which provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bead of our TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a true UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless installation successful on all standard-sized rims right from the first inflation and with minimal sealant.
