The entry point into Mavic MTB performance for disc brakes. If you don't want to retire your disc brake bike, the Crossride FTS-X is just right for you. With a proven design that includes the FTS-X freehub system, 24 aerodynamic spokes at the rear, and optimized spoke tension, the Crossride FTS-X is both stiff and lightweight. Weighing only 1060 grams, the Crossride FTS-X rear wheel offers advantages in acceleration and braking performance for strong trail performance.
FTS-X Force Transfer System X: This further improved freehub system is designed for the toughest MTB applications where a more robust freehub is required. It features reinforced pawls, a self-locking kingpin mount, and a new type of lip seal with half the friction.
QRM (Qualité de Roulements Mavic): This sophisticated bearing technology includes double seals and is extremely dimensionally stable. It allows for micro-fine adjustments for maximum efficiency, quickly adjustable to your needs, super smooth for maximum fluidity, or minimal stiffness for poorer weather conditions.
