The entry into Mavic MTB performance for disc brakes. If you don't want to retire your disc brake bike, then the Crossride FTS-X is for you. With a proven construction featuring the FTS-X freewheel, 24 aero spokes at the rear, and optimized spoking, the Crossride FTS-X is both stiff and light. Weighing just 1060 grams, the Crossride FTS-X rear wheel offers advantages in acceleration and braking efficiency for strong performance on the trail.
FTS-X Force Transfer System X: This further improved freewheel system is designed for the toughest MTB applications where a more robust freewheel is required. It features reinforced pawls, a self-locking kingpin mount, and a new type of lip seal with half the friction.
QRM (Qualité de Roulements Mavic): This sophisticated bearing technology includes double seals and is extremely dimensionally stable. It allows for micro-fine adjustments for maximum efficiency, quickly adjustable according to your needs, super-smooth for maximum smoothness, or minimum tightening for worse weather conditions.
