One of the biggest improvements of the MJ series lights is the Garmin-compatible mounts that are directly attached to the base of the headlights. As with most Magicshine lights, you can use the lights with a variety of aftermarket mounts instead of having to rely on proprietary mounts or adapters. The mount is shared with the Allty commuter lights and various other products. The wired external battery design of the MJ lights means you need to route cables and mount the large battery to your frame. The MJ-906S includes the larger MJ-6118 battery. Despite the simple design, the straps work well and keep the battery securely in place even on rough terrain.
