Even on the ski slopes, most people consider their smartphone essential. But who hasn’t experienced this? To arrange a meeting point for lunch, you have to take off your gloves in the lift and then type with icy fingers. That’s a thing of the past, at least for those wearing the RS1 ski helmet from LIVALL. Thanks to the integrated headset, the helmet connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Making calls, using messaging services, or simply listening to music has never been easier, all without needing to use your hands. The system is controlled simply via a central button on the left ear pad – one press and the connection is established. The walkie-talkie function is particularly handy. With a specially developed LIVALL app, you can maintain a direct line with your ski buddies without constantly reaching for your phone. But the RS1 does even more: in the event of a fall, a sensor detects the impact, activates the app, and sends an SMS with the geolocation data of the suspected accident site to a predefined number. Last but not least, if the smartphone is no longer connected via Bluetooth, the helmet signals a potential loss.
