The Leone gloves come in weights measured in ounces (OZ), which can vary between 6 and 18 depending on the athlete's weight class and intended use. As the weight in ounces increases, so does the padding and overall weight of the glove. In our models, the fit also adjusts to the increase in ounces.

In general, we can assist you with the following guidelines for selection:

• 6 OZ suitable for children and young boys
• 8 - 10M OZ suitable for women and boys (10M gloves have the same weight as the classic 10 OZ but a reduced fit, perfect for women's hands and young people)
• 10 OZ is the classic weight, perfect for training with a punching bag and for competitions
• 12 - 18 OZ specifically for sparring in the gym.

To protect your hands and your opponent, we recommend selecting the right padding based on your weight as well.
