Lake CX400L

The CX400L is based on the foundations of the CX400 and offers the same performance-oriented carbon platform along with an excellent fit, now featuring a traditional lacing system. Built on Lake's Race Last, it combines stiffness, stability, and anatomical support at a professional level with the timeless adjustability of laces. Please note that the CX400L cannot be heat molded.

Last
CX/TX RACE Last - With a slightly narrower toe box and a tighter heel area than the Competition Last, and overall less volume than the Sport Last. Designed for a very high power-to-weight ratio with a slimmer fit.

Outsole
The CX400L features a full carbon sole that provides the necessary stiffness and controlled flex where comfort is crucial. This unique construction eliminates the need for heat molding by naturally adapting to the rider's foot shape and offering competitive power transfer with comfort for long rides straight out of the box.

Upper Material
Upper made of Clarino microfiber with strategically placed ventilation openings to ensure a lightweight and breathable upper that maintains structural integrity under load. Clarino offers the soft and adaptable properties of real leather while resisting stretching and environmental influences, allowing for consistent fit over time. The upper is designed for comfort on long rides and supports natural biomechanics while providing the necessary secure hold for intense efforts.

Closure
Traditional lacing system with integrated support for secure retention and precise adjustment. Offers a classic style with modern functionality that allows for even tension across the foot and lasting stability.
