Lake CX302

The CX302 is the ultimate climbing shoe – lightweight without compromising on comfort, secure fit, or power transfer. Featuring Clarino microfiber, dual BOA® Li2 dials, and Lake’s handcrafted CFC 3K carbon sole, it weighs an incredible 195 grams (size 44, without insole).

CX/TX Race Last – offers a slightly narrower toe box and a tighter heel than the Competition Last, as well as an overall lower volume than the Sport Last. Designed for very high pedaling with a snug fit. The wide version provides an additional 15 mm of volume in the forefoot area.

100% Lake Race carbon sole. Available with a 3-hole pedal platform pattern. The CX302 uses Lake’s patented dual-sole system. The insole is a semi-rigid carbon platform that allows the foot some flexibility in the forefoot area, where the foot tends to swell and where pressure points or numbness would normally occur. The insole is mounted floating above the rigid carbon outsole. This system allows the use of an extremely rigid carbon outsole without sacrificing ride comfort.
