Lake CX302

The CX302 is the ultimate climbing shoe, lightweight yet comfortable, with a secure fit and excellent power transfer. It is made from Clarino microfiber, features dual BOA® Li2 dials, and Lake's handcrafted CFC 3K carbon sole, weighing an incredible 195 grams (Unisex size 44, without insole).

The CX/TX Race Last offers a slightly narrower toe box and a tighter heel area compared to the Competition Last, as well as less overall volume than the Sport Last. Designed for extremely fast pedaling with a slimmer fit. The wide version provides an additional 15 mm of volume in the forefoot area.

The 100% carbon fiber Lake Race sole is available with a 3-hole cleat pattern. The CX302 utilizes Lake's patented dual sole system. The insole is a semi-flexible carbon fiber platform that allows some flexibility in the footbed area, where the foot tends to expand and where pressure points or numbness would typically occur. The insole floats above the stiff carbon outer sole. This system allows for the use of an extremely stiff carbon outer sole without sacrificing riding comfort.

Clarino microfiber and mesh with a medial support panel made of Carbitex ensure a secure fit. The BOA® Fit System with Li2 dials is the most advanced platform in cycling, providing precise, micro-adjustable adjustments in both directions and designed to withstand abrasion.
