The shell is made from lightweight and sturdy Grilamid® Carbon Reinforced material. The patented locking system Vertebra Technology™ with Carbon supports power transfer during descents thanks to its excellent flexibility properties rated at "125-Flex." The shell's mobility of a total of 60° combined with the improved rolling behavior and the patented movement system "EZ Flex™" of the inner boot enhances the product's hiking capabilities. The shoe is also suitable for technical passages on rock and slippery surfaces, thanks to the Vibram® outsole with dual compound and dual compression.
