La Sportiva equips the shoe with a textile upper and a GORE-TEX® membrane. This construction allows for a relatively low weight and complete weather resistance of the shoe. The special lacing system evenly distributes tension across the entire instep, ensuring pressure-free comfort. To protect your foot and the material from damage in rocky terrain, La Sportiva has incorporated a protective cap in the toe and heel areas of the Ultra Raptor II GTX. Notably, the unique heel design stabilizes and supports you, especially during traversing. The FriXion®-White sole is made from a rubber compound that ensures long-lasting durability for its intended use. Functional support is provided by the Impact Brake System™ (IBS), which enhances braking force during descents, guarantees maximum traction during ascents, and reduces impact stress upon landing with specially arranged lugs.
