The Stream is a next-generation mid-cut fast hiking shoe designed for rapid treks. It employs solutions that are integral to the La Sportiva DNA and merges them with concepts and technologies from the mountain running sector, creating a versatile and waterproof product due to the innovative GORE-TEX SURROUND technology: an exclusive solution that allows for complete breathability, as the ventilation surface of the upper, insole, and EVA midsole has been enhanced with perforated TPU on the sides. The ventilation channels visible along the length of the midsole are protected by a small, highly durable mono-bava nylon mesh to prevent the ingress of small stones and debris. The mid-cut upper is constructed with a Nano-Cells 2.0 structure made of super breathable small cells, which work in conjunction with the GORE-TEX SURROUND system for increased breathability. The lower part of the shoe is integrated with the Stability Control System, which provides anti-torsion stabilization and incorporates the ventilation channels of the GORE-TEX SURROUND technology.
