It is particularly suitable for heel and toe hooks. The Python is a very snug-fitting ballerina shoe that features an efficient closure system with its Velcro strap. This secures the shoe during hooking and prevents the heel from slipping during extreme use. The heel construction uses a very grippy, snug rubber with non-soluble adhesive, providing the advantage of a shell construction combined with the sensitivity of a heel found in traditional designs. The special rubber is also used at the toe, extending well beyond the toe tip for optimal toe hooks. The sole made with Vibram XSGrip2 compound offers maximum grip.
