The Karakorum are robust, crampon-compatible leather mountaineering boots for climbing in demanding terrain. Equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane, the boots not only repel water from the outside, but also allow moisture inside the boot to escape to the outside, keeping your feet nice and dry. The high-quality Vibram outsole is equipped with an Impact Brake System and offers excellent grip as well as plenty of cushioning and support on descents. The insole is equipped with an anti-torsion plate that provides additional stability. Speaking of stability: the high, well-padded collar stabilises the ankle, while the 3D Flex System ensures easy mobility. The shoe is equipped with a protective edge to protect against rocks and debris. But it wouldn't be complete without a climbing zone at the front of the sole for short climbs and scrambles.
