La Sportiva Boulder X

Thanks to its particularly grippy sole and the climbing zone in the toe area, which is suitable for use on the wall, the La Sportiva Boulder X is especially well-suited for technical approaches and via ferratas. The upper is made of suede leather with a rubber rand all around for maximum protection against wear during climbing. The patented lacing system is derived from the design of the Mythos climbing shoe. Both the fit and the lacing system are asymmetrical. The sole is made from a new Vibram concept: the design enhances grip during climbing, and the Impact Brake System provides better stability during descents. The use of soft 2 mm thick EVA offers shock-absorbing properties.

The Impact Brake System is an innovative system attached to the sole that dampens impact, assists during ascents, and prevents slipping during descents.
