The Akyra GTX is a structured, waterproof, and protective winter running shoe designed for long off-road and endurance routes, such as ultra trails or marathons.

The Akyra GTX impresses with its comfort and flexible structure while providing ample protection. The upper is seamless, snug-fitting, and breathable. The innovative MicroLite Skeleton applications dynamically support the foot and provide structure. The ultralight Flex-Guard microfiber applications protect against abrasions from rocks and roots. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane is waterproof and breathable, offering maximum protection in adverse weather conditions.

Exceptional stability is ensured by the TrailCage System technology, which is positioned between the two upper layers and integrated into the lacing system, giving the shoe structure and fit.

The sole, developed by La Sportiva, is made from a FriXion XT compound. The built-in Impact Brake System and Trail Rocker design provide cushioning and support for a natural running style.
