The Aequilibrium ST GTX by La Sportiva is a lightweight mountaineering shoe that offers stability, flexibility, and protection for demanding alpine tours. Designed for mountaineering, glacier crossings, and technical terrain, it combines innovative technologies for optimal performance in challenging conditions.
The robust upper material with a TPU anti-abrasion film protects the shoe from wear and ensures durability. Reinforcements at the toe and heel stabilize the upper and increase resilience in rocky terrain. A soft snow guard enhances comfort in cold conditions.
The Double Heel construction improves rolling motion and reduces fatigue in the leg muscles. The robust construction of the outsole and midsole ensures high durability at a low weight. The integrated PU foam layer enhances cushioning.
For reliable grip on various surfaces, the shoe features a Vibram sole with an Impact Brake System, providing optimal grip and shock absorption. The 3D Flex System Evo allows for more precise foot guidance and increases ankle mobility without compromising stability.
The Aequilibrium ST GTX is compatible with semi-automatic crampons and is particularly suited for ascents in high alpine terrain.
