Aequilibrium LT GTX is the mountain shoe for alpine excursions with heavy loads, ideal for backpacking and multi-day high-altitude tours. It features excellent walking characteristics thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ construction: the pronounced geometry with a dual heel design enhances braking performance when descending and allows for a smoother roll-off, protecting the muscles. Durability and lightness are perfectly balanced due to the new sole/midsole unit with an external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam for increased cushioning and reduced rubber layers. The shape is ergonomic: snug and precise, with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel for reinforcement of the upper material. The 3D Flex System Evo™ rotation with a molded ankle and abrasion-resistant protection allows for better step control and perfect ankle mobility. The midsole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, while the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs provides better adaptation to hard rock surfaces.
