The Aequilibrium ST GTX from La Sportiva is a lightweight mountaineering boot that offers stability, flexibility and protection for demanding alpine tours. Developed for mountaineering, glacier crossings and technical terrain, it combines modern technologies for optimum performance in challenging conditions. The robust upper material with TPU anti-abrasion film protects the shoe from wear and tear and ensures durability. Reinforcements on the toe and heel stabilise the upper material and increase resistance in rocky terrain. Soft snow protection increases comfort in cold conditions. The double heel construction improves rolling and reduces leg muscle fatigue. The robust construction of the outsole and midsole ensures high durability and low weight. The integrated PU foam layer improves cushioning. For reliable grip on different surfaces, the shoe is equipped with a Vibram sole with Impact Brake System, which ensures optimum grip and shock absorption. The 3D Flex System Evo enables more precise foot guidance and increases mobility in the ankle area without compromising stability. The Aequilibrium ST GTX is compatible with semi-automatic crampons and is suitable for ascents in high alpine terrain.
