The Oi Luxe is luxurious in every respect. Its CNC-machined ring and brass ring, stitched vegan "leather" washer and injection-moulded stainless steel make it a pleasure to have on your handlebars. What about the handlebar cables? Not to worry. A cable management system is built into the shape of the bracket. Not only does this allow the bell to work uninterrupted, but it also helps to keep the cables tidy. The shape of the Oi bell has its origins in its home - the handlebar. Where bells normally protrude upwards or outwards, Oi does not. It seems to float around the handlebars. In one sense it is discreet, but in another it stands out as unrecognisable. With a CNC-machined ringing mechanism and a brass mallet, the strike of the bell is firm and fast, providing a good balance of volume and longevity of sound. The tapping bell actually has multiple pitches - a core and several supporting higher notes to ensure it is distinctive and safe to hear. How do you get it on the handlebars? Just slide it over, give the hex bolt a quick tighten and you're good to go. No sliding down the handlebars, no disassembling and reassembling.
