Kentucky Horsewear Protect Long Hing
Product details
The Magnetic Stable Boots Recuptex resting bandages offer a simple and secure alternative to wraps, protecting and supporting the horse's limbs during rest. These bandages combine 21st-century textile technology in an anatomically shaped boot that features a breathable underband made from a smart material called Recuptex. The breathable neoprene outer fabric allows for freedom of movement, while the robust Velcro straps ensure a secure, quick, and easy fit.
Based on Bekaert's Bekinox technology, Recuptex is made from stainless steel fibers that are directly woven into the material. The fabric forms a Faraday cage that reflects the magnetic fields generated by the body. It thus acts as an electromagnetic shield, blocking waves and disturbances. This stimulates blood circulation and oxygen flow, helping to reduce swelling and inflammation while promoting faster healing of micro-tears. Ideal for treating horses with chronic arthritis and tendon issues, the bandage accelerates the healing process in a natural, protective environment. The Recuptex underband and neoprene boot can be machine washed at 30° (not in the dryer) without compromising their effectiveness or performance.
